The Equipment Realization Technician is responsible for assembly and set up of new machines. Building automated assembly and test stations using purchased components and machined parts. This includes basic machining – running manual toolroom machines. Hands on problem solving and teamwork in support of production.
Essential Functions:
* Reading and interpreting assembly drawings and 3D models
* Assembly of mechanical devices and machined components
* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
* Assembly and wiring of electrical devices and connections
* Use of hand tools and measuring equipment
* Basic troubleshooting and use of a multimeter
* Ability to run manual Toolroom machines at a fundamental level. Drills, milling machines, lathes, grinders.
* Machining basic parts from drawings
* Design and develop basic holding fixtures, create efficient set ups.
* Design and develop basic end of arm tools, carts, and other simple projects to support manufacturing
* Ability to perform tool room work in a timely manner
* Serve as technical resource production coordinators, and other personnel as required.
Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Four-yearstate certificate apprentice program and journeyman license
* Associatedegree with related experiences
* Math skills - knowledge of shop / mechanical mathematics
* Basic computer skills. Ability to learn CAM software
* Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions
* Ability to interact effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and production personnel
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, maintenance instructions, and detailed procedure manuals.
Travel:
* Travel is not required in this position.
Physical Demands:
* Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 10lbs
* Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing in excess of 100 lbs.
* Ability to stand and walk on a regular basis and occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch
* Ability to use close vision, color vision, and depth perception for extended periods.

The base pay range for this role is between $58,240 and $62,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
