We are looking for a confident IT Infrastructure Engineer who has demonstrated experience engineering and maintaining environments and resources in cloud environments, leveraging industry best practices and toolsets. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who combines their existing experience with a thirst to learn in order to engineer, deploy, and maintain quality solutions with a security-first mindset.
What your impact will be:
1. Engineer solutions for cloud based systems
2. Provision and manage resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
3. Provide in depth technical support for a global, multi-region environment
4. Share your knowledge to elevate your teammates’ skill sets
5. Provide support for tickets escalated through the Helpdesk
6. Bring a security-first approach to everything
7. Be an indispensable partner with the Information Security team
What you will bring:
8. Engineering and operations experience with AWS
9. Advanced experience with Linux system administration
10. Ability to write and maintain Terraform and Ansible code
11. Scripting experience (preferably Python and Shell)
12. Knowledge of CI/CD concepts
13. Experience with git & Github
14. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and applications in a business environment
15. 5+ years of DevOps and Systems Administration experience
16. Strong technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
17. Ability to thrive under pressure, self-manage, and prioritize activities in order to deliver to tight deadlines
18. Ability to integrate and participate with a team in a remote working environment
What will give you an edge:
19. Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud
20. Experience with AWS Organizations
21. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes solutions
22. Experience maintaining and troubleshooting web services
23. Knowledge of CDNs and WAFs
24. Understanding of IDPs and SSO integrations
25. Recognized certification in cloud based environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
26. A “can do” approach to problems and challenges
