ROLE OVERVIEW
As part of a small & focussed team, the Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for implementing a number of key marketing initiatives. They will own and lead all digital marketing delivery and performance, driving brand visibility, ownership of social media performance and delivery, and campaign optimisation across paid, organic and owned channels.
Role Duties
Digital Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute the annual digital marketing strategy.
Manage and execute the annual social media content calendar.
Lead TikTok and emerging social channel strategy.
Oversee tone of voice and brand consistency across all digital platforms.
Website & SEO
Own WordPress website development and optimisation.
Manage SEO (on-page & off-page) with agency support.
Coordinate structural updates and UX improvements.
Paid Media
Manage and optimise PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
Lead SEM strategy and keyword optimisation.
Audience targeting, creative testing and conversion tracking.
CRM & Email
Build and manage Zoho email campaigns and templates.
Optimise CRM workflows and lead nurturing journeys.
Report on campaign performance and pipeline contribution.
Content & Reporting
Write and publish SEO-aligned blog content.
Produce monthly KPI dashboards and present insights.
Analyse lead generation performance and recommend improvements.
Event Integration
Attend all exhibitions (weekend work included).
Lead digital promotion for all exhibitions.
Oversee rotational Open Day promotion strategy and digital funnel.
Core Competencies
Proof reading experience and meticulous attention to detail.
Working understanding of print production process.
Working understanding of SEM, SEO, CRO and other digital strategies.
Working understanding of the difference between Brand and Direct Response marketing activities.
Knowledge of social scheduling tools.
Knowledge of email, CRM & CMS tools.
Excellent I.T skills – full use of Microsoft Suite.
Excellent written and verbal skills with a positive and enthusiastic personality.
Strong organisational and creative skills.
Flexibility to adapt both attitude and approach with understanding of cultural differences.
