Role Overview
The Senior Planner plays a key role in ensuring successful project delivery by developing, monitoring, and maintaining comprehensive project schedules and plans. Collaborating closely with project teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors, the Senior Planner manages timelines, resources, and costs to meet project objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, extensive experience with planning tools, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to complex construction and infrastructure projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project schedules covering all phases from initiation to completion.
* Monitoring and Progress Reporting: Track project progress, ensure schedule adherence, and report regularly to stakeholders.
* Risk and Change Management: Conduct risk analyses and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Work with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate planning.
* Planning Tools and Systems: Use Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools to manage schedules and maintain data accuracy.
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience as a Project Planner in construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors.
* Expertise in planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project.
* Ability to manage complex schedules and deliver results.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies.
* Understanding of civil and electrical engineering requirements for ICP and BESS projects.
* Commitment to health & safety standards.
* Operational management skills for site activities and resources.
