Are you a passionate History Teacher looking for your next opportunity from January 2026? Pearson Whiffin Education is delighted to be recruiting for a full-time, long – temp to perm position at a thriving, high-achieving secondary school in Gravesend, Kent.

The successful candidate will be confident teaching History and some Politics across KS3 and KS4.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
1. A strong understanding of the History and Politics curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
2. Ideally UK-recognised QTS or be an ECT
3. A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
4. A full UK driving licence and access to a car is preferred
5. The ability to motivate and engage students through well-structured, inspiring lessons
6. Experience supporting mixed-ability classes, including SEND and high-achieving students
