We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager – Market Access to join a growing, high-performing life sciences consultancy practice. This is a strategic leadership position combining client ownership, project excellence, team development, and commercial growth.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the Market Access practice, you will:
* Lead complex, business-critical Market Access engagements across the US and Europe
* Drive revenue growth through client expansion, repeat business, and new opportunities
* Shape strategic direction within a growing practice
* Lead and mentor a team of consultants and senior analysts
* Act as a senior advisor to global biopharma and healthcare clients
This is a multi-faceted role where your subject matter expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership capability will directly impact both client outcomes and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Commercial Leadership
* Own senior client relationships and serve as trusted strategic advisor
* Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
* Contribute to complex proposals, pitches, and business development activities
* Leverage professional networks to generate new business opportunities
Project & Delivery Excellence
* Lead 4–6 concurrent Market Access projects
* Provide senior-level problem solving and strategic oversight
* Ensure delivery of high-quality, actionable outcomes aligned to client objectives
* Develop and execute pilot programs with measurable impact
Practice & Team Development
* Contribute to the long-term strategy of the Market Access practice
* Lead internal initiatives supporting practice build-out
* Line manage and develop 5+ team members
* Recruit, train, and retain high-performing talent
* Represent the firm externally and demonstrate thought leadership
What We’re Looking For
Experience
* 5-7+ years’ experience in Market Access consulting (post PhD/Master’s)
* Strong expertise across US and European healthcare systems (global exposure desirable)
* Proven success in client-facing roles and business development
* Experience leading multiple complex projects simultaneously
Education
* Master’s degree or higher (MPH, PharmD, PhD, MBA or equivalent) in a life sciences-related field
Capabilities
* Strategic, innovative thinker with strong analytical depth
* Confident communicator at senior stakeholder level
* Commercially minded with strong relationship-building skills
* Collaborative leader capable of managing culturally diverse teams
* Flexible with travel requirements
