Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy Registered to practice with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) Desirable criteria Evidence of Continued Professional Development to Masters level or equivalent. Relevant post graduate qualification (s) Membership of specialist interest group Qualification in Sensory Integration or equivalent Knowledge Essential criteria Knowledge of paediatric and government legislation relevant to this job role. Desirable criteria Supervision of Students Accredited Clinical educator's qualification. Working with children and young people with neuro - developmental difficulties e.g. Autism Skills Essential criteria Ability to use and interpret a range of standardised assessments. Ability to assess children and young people and identify need with those who have a range of neurological, neurodevelopmental, orthopaedic or profound and complex disabilities. An ability to communicate complex and/or contentious information at all levels. Ability to work as part of a Multi professional team across all children's services. Desirable criteria Upper limb splinting experience and /or qualification Training and presentation skills Aptitude Essential criteria Use of a car or access to a means of mobility to travel across the Trust footprint in line with service needs.
