Overview

Learning Support Assistant - Kingston. Help shape young lives and build brighter futures in a supportive SEN school. Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children? Do you believe that every child deserves the chance to flourish, no matter the challenges they face? We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join the dedicated team at a specialist SEN primary school in Kingston. The Role:

Responsibilities

* Delivering tailored 1:1 and small group support, adapting learning to meet the unique needs of pupils with autism, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, and social-emotional challenges.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and motivated to engage.
* Helping pupils develop essential life skills and social confidence, celebrating every achievement, big or small.
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to set goals, monitor progress, and celebrate successes.
* Acting as a role model, showing patience, empathy, and encouragement every step of the way.

Requirements

* A caring and resilient individual who believes in the potential of every child.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
* A team player who can bring energy, adaptability, and positivity to the classroom.
* Previous experience in an SEN, childcare, or educational setting is valued – but enthusiasm and the right attitude matter most.
* A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or SEN support is desirable, but not essential.

Benefits

* Being part of a welcoming, inclusive school community where every staff member is valued and supported.
* Access to regular training and professional development, including specialist SEN and therapeutic approaches.
* The opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
* A role where no two days are the same, and every day brings the chance to inspire a child's future.

Apply today and take the first step toward a career where you'll make a genuine impact, every single day.
