A growing company that works within the automotive, aerospace, and medical sector are seeking a Quality Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of testing of incoming raw material and manufactured material, some laboratory testing on final products.
* Enter data into quality system databases, maintain test, inspection and calibration records.
* Partner with technical support, manufacturing, quality engineers, as well as operations staff to meet objectives.
* Be responsible for inspecting finished product and authorising it to be released to customers.
* Update standard operating procedures, participate in problem solving activities using 5W's, 8D, Fishbone etc.
* Provide support for customer complaints, support health, safety and environmental work as required.
Qualifications
* Science / Engineering to at least A level / HNC / HND standard.
* Conscientious and thorough.
* Proficiency in MS Excel & MS Word required.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work with math and statistical equations as well as mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, and graphical or chart interpretations.
* Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO9001/14001, IATF16949 and statistical concepts.
* Knowledge of SPC, PPAP, data analysis.
* Ability to work independently or in a team, as needed to meet goals.
* Demonstrable strong interpersonal skills.
* Detail oriented and highly organised.
* Flexible attitude.
* Ability to work from home (laptop provided).
