Forklift Driver / Production Operative
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver / Production Operative to join our busy manufacturing team. This is a varied role that combines forklift truck operation with production and warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.
* Loading and unloading deliveries.
* Moving raw materials and finished products around the site.
* Supplying production lines with materials as required.
* Assisting with production and manufacturing processes.
* Conducting quality checks and reporting any issues.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
* Following all health and safety procedures.
* Completing production and stock documentation accurately.
Requirements
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential).
* Previous forklift driving experience within a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
* Ability to work rotating shifts.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
