Robert Half has partnered with a global organisation to recruit an Indirect Tax Analyst. This remote role requires occasional office visits (1-2 days per month) for meetings. For the successful candidate, the position offers a competitive salary of £55,000-£58,000 along with excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review VAT, CIS, and PSA returns.
* Ensure timely tax submissions across the business.
* Enhance and standardise processes, documentation, and procedures related to tax compliance.
* Build internal relationships to promote tax awareness and best practices.
* Evaluate systems and controls to strengthen tax reporting capabilities and compliance.
* Support audits, tax projects, and general advisory work as required.
* Review purchase invoices for Indirect Tax and compliance using procurement systems.
* Provide guidance on Indirect Tax matters and collaborate on ad-hoc tasks.
Experience and Skills:
* 3+ years' experience in a similar Indirect Tax role, ideally in-house. (Will consider candidates who have less indirect tax experience)
* Progress towards, or possession of, professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, or AAT.
* Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial/accounting principles.
* Proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
