Job Overview
FM Supervisor – Band 3 – Salary £25,760-£27,474 per annum (pro rata) – 21 hours per week – St. Aubyn Centre, Colchester – Right to work in the UK required – Not a sponsored role – Previous applicants need not apply.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day co-supervision of FM services (cleaning, catering, portering, goods receiving, linen & laundry management).
* Act as the customer’s point of contact for any FM-related issues.
* Ensure all areas are maintained to a clean and hygienic level for patients, staff and visitors in line with current National Standards of Cleanliness.
* Ensure compliance with legislation relating to Food Safety and Health and Safety.
* Deal efficiently with complaints/issues and report remedial actions to the FM Supervisor and Facilities Officer.
* Use a trust vehicle – must hold a valid UK full driving licence.
* Work flexibly as part of the Facilities Team, prioritising and organising duties.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Right to work in the UK.
* Valid UK full driving licence.
* Experience in facilities management or a related field is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Initiative and ability to prioritise tasks.
* Commitment to safeguarding and to meeting safety standards.
Remuneration & Hours
Salary: £25,760 - £27,474 per annum (pro rata), £13.17 - £14.05 per hour.
Hours: 21 hours per week – Rota: Week 1 & 2 – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 15:00–19:00; Saturday 08:00–13:00 & 15:00–19:00; Sunday 08:00–13:00 & 15:00–19:00.
Unsocial Hours Payments: Saturday – Time plus 35% of wage; Sunday – Time plus 69% of wage.
