The post holder will be based in the Maintenance Team within the Estates and Facilities department. The Estates and Facilities department oversee the operation of the significant University Estate, with over 70 buildings spread over 5 sites, including Pontypridd, Cardiff and Newport. The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation and control of heating, plumbing, ventilation and cooling systems throughout the University and will work as an integral part of a direct works team of university craftspeople performing maintenance, new construction, refurbishment, restoration and works on all University campuses. This is a full-time role If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
