View Hill School is seeking an enthusiastic and capable kaiako to teach our Years 5–8 class, 0.8 FTTE (4 days per week), in a fixed-term position.
Responsibilities
This is our senior class – a group of motivated, engaged learners who enjoy challenge and take pride in their learning as young rangatahi of our kura.
We are looking for a positive and collaborative team member to join our dedicated staff. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for all ākonga, be adaptable in a busy school environment, bring a growth mindset and sense of humour.
This role has a focus on accelerated curriculum development, particularly in mathematics and literacy. A willingness to engage with "Maths No Problem", the refreshed mathematics curriculum, and the English curriculum is essential. The ability to extend and challenge middle to senior learners is key. The successful applicant will be teaching all curriculum areas.
