Salary: £20-£25 Per hour
Job Type: 6 month contract, with potential to be a permanent position

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver PPM and reactive maintenance efficiently and safely
* Oversee internal engineers and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with KPIs, SLAs, and statutory regulations
* Act as the primary technical contact on-site and liaise with client stakeholders regularly
* Maintain accurate records via CAFM systems and ensure task completion in line with contract terms
* Assist with emergency responses and participate in the on-call rota
* Support audits, compliance reporting, and Health & Safety procedures including RAMS
* Lead toolbox talks, performance reviews, and service improvement plans
* Maintain inventory and specialist equipment safely and effectively
* Promote team development, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Multi-skilled engineer with formal technical qualification (mechanical/electrical)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in building services or facilities management
* Proven team leadership and supervision capabilities
* In-depth knowledge of building systems, statutory compliance, and SHEQ standards
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems
* Eligible for BPSS and CTC security clearance
* Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure
Desirable Skills
* IOSH or NEBOSH certification
* Experience managing high-security or critical environments
* Familiarity with energy-saving and sustainability initiatives
* Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
