The school is now looking for a dedicated and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September. About the Role: As a HLTA, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the class teacher and pupils across a variety of subjects. You’ll lead small group sessions, offer one-to-one support, and assist in delivering engaging lessons that cater to a wide range of learning needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Support the delivery of lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and are progressing Lead small group interventions and provide one-on-one support where needed Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment Address the emotional and wellbeing needs of students with care and sensitivity Assist in lesson planning and resource preparation Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers Implement targeted interventions for pupils with additional needs Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals What We’re Looking For: HLTA status or equivalent experience working at a higher-level TA role A strong understanding of primary education and child development Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to supporting learning A genuine commitment to helping children succeed Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
