Job Title: SEND Local Offer Officer\n\nLocation: Local authority based in Ealing\n\nHourly rate: £21.33 PAYE/ £28.26 Umbrella\n\nContract Length: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)\n\nWorking Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 35 hours- Hybrid working available\n\nASAP Start\n\nJob Purpose:\n\nTo project manage and support the FIS Manager / Deputy with the ongoing development and implementation of the Local Offer with a focus on Chapter 4 in the statutory guidance "Special educational needs and disability code of practice: 0 to 25 years. Statutory guidance for organisations which work with and support children who have special educational needs or disabilities". \n\nJob Duties:\n\nProject Management: Overseeing the ongoing development and implementation of Ealing's Local Offer in line with the SEND Code of Practice.\nDirectory Management: Implementing, managing, reporting and ensuring the delivery of the Ealing Family Services Directory, as mandated by the Childcare Act 2006 Section 12.\nContent Creation: Writing and producing web content, managing social media accounts, and reporting on the effectiveness of our services, including customer satisfaction.\nStakeholder engagement: Collaborating with internal and external partners, as well as community services, which includes children, parents, and carers.Person Specification: The ideal candidate must have:\n\nSignificant experience in web publishing and content management systems (CMS).\nExperience of writing and implementing web and communications project plans.\nStrong skills in researching, simplifying, and organising complex information.\nIn-depth understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, especially the Local Offer requirements\nExperience in project management, overseeing the ongoing development and implementation of the Local Offer online resource\nExperience of writing and implementing web and communications project plans.
