A well-established securitypany who prides themselves on providing the highest quality of service to their ever-expanding client base are looking for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer based in Belfast.
Your new role
You will be responsible for servicing and fault calls on a wide range of life systems, such as: Fire Alarm systems, Aspirating systems, Disabled Refuge systems, Nurse Call systems and Emergency Lighting.
Your duties would include:
• Servicing and Remedial works of fire detection and aspirating systems, including emergency lighting, remote monitoring, Disabled Refuge, Toilet Alarms and nurse call systems.
• To maintain and provide ongoing reactive maintenance.
• Support customers and widerpany operations, sales, administration and operations where required.
• Observe and adhere topany Health and Safety guidelines and contribute to a Health and Safety working environment.
The standard hours are hours a week Monday–Friday, with the added bonus of overtime work if you would like to work any additional hours.
What you'll need to succeed
Requirements:
• Any additional capabilities or basic programming knowledge relating to any of the above systems would be advantageous. Training and development can be offered in these areas.
• Specific product knowledge of some or all the following manufacturers is desired:
• Ampac and Kentec Knowledge
• Advanced Electronics, HAES, Gent, Hochiki, Apollo, Vesda, Airsense, Honeywell, Wagner, Quantec, Ctec, Fireclass and Baldwin and Boxall
• A proven ability to troubleshoot, identify and suggest an appropriate course of action, specifically related to issues and maintenance related to fire detection and alarm systems
• Proven experience working inmercial & building site environments
• City & Guilds level 3
• FIA courses up to date
• Respect for the health and safety of both themselves, their colleagues, and the customer
• Full UK driving licence
