A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Hereford Area!
With no day ever being the same the Senior Quality Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
Supervising a team of 5 quality individuals - appraisals, 1to1s, disciplinaries
Supporting New Product Introduction identifying suitability of products against customer specification
Introduction and management of 5S in the main areas of the business
Building and managing customer relationships as well as relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Participating in management meetings and ensuring KPI targets and CI goals are met on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
ISO accreditation and QMS management experience
Understanding of six sigma tools to problem solve
Experience completing internal audits in line with ISO9001 and ISO13485
Supervisory experience - highly desirable
