About the role
It’s an exciting time in our history. Our Facilities Manager will look after our diverse array of buildings, from our Grade I listed Docklands site, through to our Brutalist Barbican site at London Wall, and you will be part of the team running the fully refurbished Grade I buildings at Smithfield from 2026.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive, customer focused Facilities professional with experience working in culture & heritage, higher education, healthcare or equivalent sectors. Previous experience of working in a museum is not required and you do not need to have any academic qualifications. For this role, we are considering candidates from different workplaces, our priorities being demonstrating care, diligence and expertise in the field of Facilities.
Key responsibilities
* Bring a positive, collaborative working style coupled with strong knowledge of historic building fabric and managing hard and soft services.
* Maintain attention to detail with a focus on compliance.
* Demonstrate excellent people skills.
