As a Subject Specialist, this is an exciting opportunity for graduates, supervisors, or aspiring teachers with a strong academic background and a passion for education to support students’ learning across various key stages. As a Subject Specialist, your responsibilities will include: Delivering pre-set lessons or supporting subject-specific content across different classes. Assisting students with understanding key concepts and curriculum objectives. Collaborating with teaching staff to maintain high standards of learning and behaviour. Providing one-on-one or small group academic support as needed. Adapting to various subject needs with confidence and clarity. To be successful as a Subject Specialist, you should: Have a degree or strong subject knowledge in a specific academic area. Possess prior experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting. • Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills. • Be flexible, reliable, and passionate about helping pupils achieve their best. • Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one. • Be able to provide a full, 10-year career history with all gaps clearly explained.
