About The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Installation Operative to join our Installations Team at our Liverpool branch. This role involves working both at our branch yard and on-site for pump installations as needed.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Promote and exercise the company’s mission statement and core values to deliver a uniformed approach to installations across the UK.
2. Carry out installations and deinstallations of pumps, pipework, and associated equipment as directed by the Installation Supervisor.
3. Assist drivers with loading and unloading vehicles, checking paperwork, missing items, damages, and fuel charges.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area on-site.
5. Prioritize safety at all times, demonstrate confidence, knowledge, and experience to halt installations if safety issues arise, and inform your supervisor.
This role is subject to a safety-critical medical.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes:
1. Must be physically able due to the role’s requirements.
2. Ability to work on construction sites and adapt to challenging situations.
3. Work effectively with team members, ensuring clear communication and mutual support for timely project completion.
4. Flexible with working hours and available to be ‘on call’.
5. Willing to travel and occasionally work away from home.
6. Health & Safety focused, adhering strictly to guidelines.
7. Full driving license (no more than 6 points).
Preferred (but not essential):
* Holder of a construction Skills CSCS card.
* National Water Hygiene Card.
* Confined space trained.
* Forklift truck operator certification.
* Understanding of temporary/permanent pumping solutions.
This role requires willingness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, lone working, and with sewage.
