The Role We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a live highways project in Newton Abbot on a contract basis. This is a long-term opportunity on a well-established scheme, suitable for a proactive engineer with solid highways and civils experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting out for highways works including drainage, kerbing, earthworks and pavement construction
* Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built drawings
* Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements
* Working closely with Site Management, subcontractors and the wider project team
* Ensuring all works comply with current health & safety standards
Essential Criteria
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering / highways projects
* Civil Engineering qualification
* Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office and Trimle
* Strong understanding of health & safety policies and procedures
* Ability to prioritise time-critical work
* Excellent communication and liaison skills
* SMSTS
* First Aid
* Relevant CSCS card
* Full UK driving licence
