About Arden University
We are seeking a Senior Lecturer in Psychology to join our expanding School of Psychology at our Leeds campus. Our school has grown significantly, bringing together experienced professionals from academia, industry, and practice, with a focus on equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for employment.
Role Overview
As Senior Lecturer and Campus Lead, you will oversee the management of our Psychology programs at Leeds. Your responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of the psychology provision, maintaining a presence on campus, liaising with the Academic Director, and providing feedback to the Programme Lead. You will also support or lead wider School projects.
Core Responsibilities
* Manage a program or suite of awards/programmes
* Lead modules within the curriculum
* Line manage lecturers, including module leaders
* Contribute to teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure excellent student outcomes
Candidate Profile
To succeed, you should have:
* An MSc or equivalent in Psychology with Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC), recognized by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
* Experience in developing and enhancing psychology programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
* A strong understanding of current teaching, learning, and assessment practices in higher education
* Leadership skills and experience managing teams and staff
