We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Venue Manager to oversee the operations of our venue. Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the venue, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to policies.
* Manage staff, including recruitment, training, and scheduling to ensure excellent guest service.
* Coordinate events from planning through execution, liaising with clients to meet their needs and expectations.
* Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as licensing laws.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and improve service delivery.
* Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of supplies as needed.
* Prepare reports on venue performance, including attendance figures and customer feedback.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in management within the hospitality industry is essential.
* Strong understanding of guest services principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and staff alike.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
