Overview
Following the retirement of one of our long standing GPs, we are seeking a new GP at our innovative GP practice now managed by the GP federation. We champion the doctor patient relationship & continuity of care at practice level, underpinned by the expertise of the federation & at scale services. The work-plan is for 2 sessions on a Wednesday (Routine Day). The hours can be flexible to allow for approx. 8 hours per day. You can tailor a salaried role to work hours that suit your lifestyle and clinical interests. We provide a safe and well supported working environment so you can focus on providing great clinical care to patients. We take as much admin burden away from you as possible, support you with other MDT members giving you more time with each patient. Leadership development and clinical lead roles at the practice and across the federation. Opportunities to work in out-of-hours and enhanced access services. Develop a clinical interest with 15 min booked Face-to-Face appointments. Reduce clinical admin, referrals, results, letters due to our centralised functions.

* Work with and support members of the MDT team to provide excellent joint patient care
* Help foster a collaborative, ambitious and innovative culture to build the best primary care service in the UK, exceeding expectations for patients and clinicians
* Support trainees and other members of the team
Practice and Location
* We are a rapidly growing organisation with a mission to ensure that all patients have access to comprehensive, coordinated and continuous care within a sustainable primary care system.
* We want to improve patient access, patient experience and health outcomes to significantly increase the quality of care for our patients.
* The Much Birch GMS contract was novated to Taurus Healthcare in February 2024, but the practice team remains unchanged as does the identity of the surgery in the local community.
* Much Birch is a busy rural dispensing practice at the heart of the community, located in the village of Much Birch between Ross-on-Wye and Hereford city, covering an area from Hereford to Ross on Wye and into the Golden Valley.
* List size of circa 5,000+ patients
* A supportive clinical team of GPs, ANPs, Paramedics, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Physiotherapist, Social Prescribers
Qualifications and Working Arrangements
* Due to current licence limitations, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
* Applicants must already hold the right to work in the UK.
* Hours: 2 sessions on Wednesday, roughly 8 hours per day with flexible hours to suit lifestyle and clinical interests.
