To undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the Registered Nurse, within a hospital or similar setting. Reports patient condition to registered staff.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer or work experience in a health, education or social environment.
2. Required to undertake on the job training and induction
3. Undertake mandatory HCSW standards
4. Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Effective written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment.
7. Working knowledge of basic information technology.
Driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have
8. SVQ II in health care or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring role.
9. Experience of working in an in-patient setting.
10. Preferred experience within mental health or Learning Disability setting.
11. Enthusiasm to work with people experiencing mental health and Learning Disability problems.
12. Knowledge of the issues that can affect people suffering from long term mental and Intellectual health issues.

IF PART TIME: Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Primary Care Services - Lanarkshire within Kylepark Centre.
The working pattern for this role long days/nights.
