Responsibilities include supporting sales operations, analyzing sales and financial data and assisting in strategic decision-making for the European market. Job Responsibilities Data Analysis: - Employ statistical methods to interpret large sets of sales and financial data -Generate comprehensive reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends - Collaborate with the sales team to understand data needs and optimize processes - Analyze data to recommend strategic initiatives for market expansion - Contribute insights for pricing strategies, product positioning, and promotional activities Reporting: - Create visually appealing and informative dashboards for the Europe Sales Manager - Summarize key findings in concise and actionable reports - Present findings during team meetings, contributing insights for strategic discussions Administrative Support: - Maintain organized and up-to-date sales records and databases Market Research: - Work with the Marketing Team to conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging opportunities - Provide regular updates on market dynamics affecting the European region Collaboration: - Foster effective communication between sales, marketing, and other departments - Participate in collaborative projects to improve overall business operations Adaptation: - Monitor and assess the impact of economic and industry changes on sales performance - Suggest adjustments to sales strategies based on real-time data analysis Requirements & Qualifications Previous experience as a data analyst within a commercial organization, ideally supporting a sales function Skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
