Salary: £90 - £100 Per day

Job Duties:
1. Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
2. Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
3. Providing one-to-one support to students as needed
4. Helping students with personal care tasks if required
5. Assisting with the management of classroom behaviour
6. Supporting students in accessing the curriculum and educational resources
Required Qualifications:
7. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
8. Experience working with students with SEN
9. Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
12. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
13. Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
14. Knowledge of different SEN conditions and strategies to support them
15. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
16. First Aid certification
17. Training in manual handling and personal care tasks
18. Additional courses in SEN education or related fields
Working Conditions:
19. Working hours may vary, including some evenings and weekends for school events
20. Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
21. Potential exposure to challenging behaviours or emotional situations
22. Physical tasks such as assisting with mobility and personal care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
