Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Delivery:
o Carry out Training Needs Analysis and develop the scope of training.
o Design and amend courses in line with regulatory requirements.
o Monitor student feedback and adjust course content as needed.
o Ensure the welfare of all students during training events.
o Manage course sign-off and certification on the AirTanker Electronic Training Records System (EFOS).
o Represent the department at stakeholder meetings, providing training updates and back-briefing the team.
o Deliver face-to-face and remote training outside of core hours as required to support Voyager operations.
2. Training Content: Training will be provided as needed based on experience. Courses include but are not limited to:
* Ground Support Equipment
* De/Anti-ice to SAE 6285/6286 standards
* AirTanker Company Procedures
* Technical Documents & Procedures
* Aircraft Aeromedical Practical Training
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Recognized Instructional Techniques qualification or equivalent.
* Proven experience in delivering technical training.
* Experience in designing technical course content and lesson plans.
* Experience in a technical aviation environment is desirable.
* Knowledge of UK CAA or MAA regulations related to Part 145 is desirable.
* Knowledge of DSAT-QMS is desirable.
* Previous military experience is desirable.
* Strong interpersonal skills for building effective student and customer relationships.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
* Full UK driving license.
