Duties
* Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices at all times
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, demonstrating culinary skills and techniques.
* Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
* Train new kitchen staff on procedures, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.
Experience
* Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
* Experience in hospitality will be an advantage, enhancing customer service within the kitchen context.
* Full training will be given on site.
