Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domiciliary Optometrist to provide high‑quality eye care directly to patients in their own homes. This role is ideal for a compassionate, independent clinician who enjoys making a real difference to patients who cannot easily access traditional practice settings. You'll combine clinical expertise with personalised care, helping patients maintain their independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive eye examinations in patients' homes
* Assess, monitor, and manage ocular health using portable diagnostic equipment
* Provide clear advice, recommendations, and follow‑up plans tailored to each patient
* Support patients with basic daily tasks where needed, contributing to overall wellbeing
* Maintain accurate and compliant patient records
* Ensure high standards of care while working independently in the community
Team Development
* Work collaboratively with a supportive regional team
* Share knowledge and best practices to enhance patient care

About You
* GOC‑registered Optometrist
* Passionate about patient care and community outreach
* Independent, proactive, and adaptable
