Job Title: Recycling Operative
Location: Bicester
Pay Rates: 14.00 per hour.
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 7:45am to 3:45pm with 30 min lunch break
Barker Ross is currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative for our client specialising in Recycling Waste Streams for individual clients. This is a temporary ongoing position.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for sorting recyclable materials, maintaining cleanliness of the recycling area, and operating machinery such as a baler to compact materials for storage or transport. Ensures safe handling of materials, follows health and safety procedures, and assists with loading and unloading recyclable goods as needed. May work in indoor or outdoor environments, often as part of a team.
Sorting recyclable materials manually or with machinery.
Operating equipment, such as balers, compactors, and conveyor belts, to process materials.
Monitoring contamination in recyclable streams and removing non-recyclable items.
Loading and unloading recycling materials for transport.
Maintaining cleanliness of the work area and ensuring proper storage of processed materials.
Adhering to health and safety guidelines to minimize risk to self and others.
Reporting equipment faults or hazards to supervisors
To be successful you will need:
To be aware that the working areas are often out in all-weather terrain, often sorting and processing waste revenue streams outdoors.
