We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team. As the Front of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dining experience, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a smooth operation in the front of the house. Here at The White Horse, we offer an exquisite dining experience in an ambient setting. The ideal candidate will have some experience serving fresh, seasonal produce in a fast paced environment.
Duties:
* Manage and supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders
* Train new employees on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interaction
* Ensure that all guests receive prompt and courteous service
* Monitor dining room activity to ensure efficient seating and timely service
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
* Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front and back of house
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and overall ambiance
* Oversee inventory management for front of house supplies such as menus, napkins, condiments, etc.
* Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
* Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service
* Proficient in using restaurant management software or POS systems
