Warehouse Operative
* Job Type: Temporary (4-8 weeks)
* Location: Surrey
We are seeking a temporary Warehouse Operative for a 4-8 week period. This role is ideal for individuals who have their own transport, as the location is not easily accessible by public transport. A counterbalance license is preferred but not essential. The position involves heavy lifting.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
* Identifying damages and reporting any quality deficiencies.
* Organising stock in the warehouse.
* Handling heavy products safely and efficiently.
* Operating warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, if licensed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy lifting.
* Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
* Counterbalance forklift license is preferred but not essential.
* Own transport required due to the location of the warehouse.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
