The role involves providing effective secretarial and administrative support, including managing emails and telephone enquiries from relatives, carers, GPs, and other agencies, maintaining good communication between staff, GP practices, and external organisations, using initiative and managing workload.
You will attend meetings, take and transcribe minutes, and organise activities and events, including multidisciplinary meetings with internal and external partners.
Ensure patient appointments are scheduled effectively using the Electronic Patient Record system.
Produce letters for the clinical team following protocols for layout and standard details.
Employment requires a DBS check, which the Trust will cover. Applicants subscribed to the DBS update service can present a valid certificate instead of a new check.
