Team Lead (Health Visiting and School Nursing) – Uist and Barra
Band 7 £50,935 – £59,244 per annum. Plus Distant Island Allowance £1,408 per annum. 37 hours per week. Permanent post.
You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and co‑ordination of the NHS Health Visiting team and School Nursing team in Uist and Barra. The post holder will provide leadership, including service developments based on agreed policies and procedures, ensuring a high‑quality service working within the NMC Code and Clinical Governance Frameworks. The role also involves carrying a small caseload and managing training of students and liaising with higher‑education establishments.
Applications are invited from first‑level registered nurses with Health Visiting/Public Health degree qualification. Candidates must have several years of post‑registration experience with diverse caseloads and leadership/management experience.
A driving licence is essential for this post. Applicants must be car owners and possess a full UK driving licence.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme. This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
