Your Role as a Mobile Mechanic
As a Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers—wherever they may be. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We’ll equip you for success from day one with:

* Market-competitive base salary of £38,625, with potential earnings up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime.
* Full-time 40-hour week with Monday–Saturday availability (8am–8pm) for flexibility and stability.
Opt-in Guaranteed Overtime
* After your first month, choose to work extra rest days at £30 per hour. Just one extra day a month could earn you an additional £3,000 per year!
* Two extra days could give you an extra £5,000. It’s your choice—more flexibility, more reward!

What We’re Looking For
You’re someone who gets people. This isn’t just about spanners and engines—our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. You’re not just in the RAC—you are the RAC!
Here’s what you’ll need:
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* At least 3 years hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
