Total People are looking to recruit a Pastoral Intervention Practitioner to join our dedicated SEND/LDD team. We are looking for someone with a passion for working with young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), who has hands-on experience of supporting learners in the classroom and providing pastoral care. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting learners with SEND across our provision through planned early interventions, helping them to succeed and thrive both in their studies and personal development. You will help to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment while also working closely with colleagues to ensure that learners’ individual needs are understood and met. While some involvement and support in EHCP reviews will form part of the role, the focus will be on day-to-day learner support, classroom intervention, and pastoral guidance to ensure every learner has the best possible experience with Total People. We are looking for someone who is: Driven, organised, and able to manage a busy and varied workload. Experienced in safeguarding, welfare, and inclusion. This post is offered on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. Salary - £26,250 plus £3,750 car allowance per annum. Due to the nature of the role, travel to our study programme sites at Northwich, Crewe, and other locations may be required, as well as the ability to work remotely when needed.
