About the role
As an experienced climbing arborist, you will perform all tasks related to tree surgery, including pruning, sectional felling, and climbing. You will lead a team, ensuring the setup of the work site and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform all tree surgery tasks, including climbing, pruning, and sectional felling.
* Lead a team and ensure the setup of the work site.
* Conduct on‑site risk assessments and follow health and safety procedures.
* Maintain tools and vehicles in good working order.
* Collaborate with team members to complete jobs on time.
* Support and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
* Essential:
o Proven experience in arboriculture/tree surgery.
o Certificates CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39.
o Full UK driving license.
o Positive attitude and team spirit.
o Reliability and commitment.
o Great attention to detail.
* Desirable:
o CSCS card, MEWP, first aid, safe use of woodchippers, safe use of stump grinders.
o Experience in mentoring junior members.
