About Us

At Rolls‑Royce SMR, we're building an innovative, sustainable future by developing world‑class small modular reactor technology. Our teams are united by a shared purpose: to deliver safe, affordable, low‑carbon power that helps meet global energy needs.

The Team

You'll join our Operations Directorate, working within a collaborative Facilities Management function that ensures our future sites operate safely, efficiently and effectively. We focus on seamless service delivery, strong stakeholder engagement and supporting major new facility developments.

Role Summary

We're looking for a Facilities Coordinator (Industrial FM) to join our Operations team, reporting into the Facilities Project Manager. You'll play a key role in coordinating high‑performance facilities services across new facility developments, ensuring smooth transition into business‑as‑usual operations while supporting safety, quality and service excellence.

Key Deliverables

We'll need you to:

* Coordinate facilities services, inputs and requirements across future property projects to ensure best‑value service models.
* Support contractor management, including RAMS coordination, BMS data requests, and day‑to‑day supplier interactions.
* Manage purchasing activity, including raising purchase requisitions and monitoring expenditure against budgets.
* Assist with HSE compliance, risk assessments and ensuring safe operational standards across all activities.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and contributing to the delivery of safe, high‑performing facilities environments.

Essential Skills / Experience

– Understanding of Facilities Management principles.
– Knowledge of building compliance and regulatory requirements.
– Strong administration and purchasing capability, including MS Office and (ideally) SAP.
– Awareness of RAMS, HSE processes and risk management in a facilities environment.
– Experience using CAFM or Integrated Workplace Management Systems (desirable).

Location & Ways of Working

This role is flexible, with a primary base at one of our UK locations, Manchester, Warrington or Derby. Occasional travel to project sites may be required, with hybrid working available in line with team needs.

What's In It For You

we anticipate offering salary between £30,000 - £39,400, a £2,200 benefits allowance, 7% bonus opportunity, 6× pensionable life assurance, income protection, 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and a £250 new‑starter payment.

Selection Process

The selection process typically includes an initial screening call followed by two interview stages. Background checks (including BPSS and financial probity) apply.

Inclusion Statement

We are an equal opportunities employer and value the different perspectives every individual brings. If you meet around 75% of the requirements, we encourage you to apply. We're committed to providing reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process and within the workplace.

Why Join Us?

You'll be joining a forward-thinking organisation that values transparency, fairness, and innovation. We offer:

• A flexible, inclusive, and supportive working environment.

• Opportunities for career growth in a rapidly scaling business.

• A culture that values diversity, innovation, and continuous learning.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds. Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. If you feel you meet 75% of the requirements for this role, we would love to hear from you.

Also, if you are considering a career move or a sector-jump, please get in touch – we welcome applications from people with transferable skills.

Our Application Process

Due to the safety regulations within the nuclear industry, applicants will be required to participate in additional screening. These are:

• Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
