Initially, to undertake basic tasks and assist other members of staff, build up your experience in the workshop and field.

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
Role
• Work on a wide range of industrial, fire pumps, construction and marine equipment
• Carry out workshop-based and on-site diagnostic, servicing, repair and maintenance work as requested/required
• Continuous product training
• Work with office staff and customers
• Provide on-site, phone and email support to customers
• Assist with workshop servicing, repairs and maintenance
• Maintain fleet vehicles, including servicing and repairs
• Complete electronic paperwork in a timely manner
• You are expected to keep the workshop tidy and well organised.
• Our customers are based across the UK and overseas, so there will be regular UK travel and potential for international travel
• Flexibility regarding overtime and time away is required, depending on the job and/or site
• Employees are expected to do their fair share of overtime. Overtime will be either paid or given time off in lieu
• Completing in-house and external training, as documented in the training plan. Training is planned and carried out on an individual basis, depending on the employee
• Carrying out any jobs that are reasonably requested for the company

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
5 GCSEs including English, Maths (grade C/4+)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
