We are looking for a Senior Administrative Officer who will play an important role in helping to lead and shape the administrative duties and roles within the Inclusion Team. You will embed and evolve the Council’s overall strategy to meet the Additional Support Needs of children and young people in North Lanarkshire by working closely with all aspects of administrative needs in this busy team, supporting Administrative Officers and Clerical Assistants to enable high-performance working.
You will have a proven track record of successfully working in a busy administrative role where there are set deadlines in terms of statutory obligations. Additionally, you will demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills and a real desire to work collaboratively with others in the Inclusion Team and in the Education and Families directorate to deliver on shared goals.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team at a pivotal time, with recent expansion and a five‑year strategic review shaping future direction. This presents an opportunity for the successful postholder to work closely with staff at all levels of the Council.
You will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
