About The Role

We’re looking for a Retention Marketing Manager to own and evolve our customer lifecycle marketing strategy, with a sharp focus on product adoption, usage and long‑term retention.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing, GTM, product and data. You’ll use data insight and experimentation to design journeys that help customers realise value faster, use more of our products, and stay with us for the long term.

You’ll be highly analytical, comfortable working with data, and experienced in building automated, behaviour‑led customer journeys across multiple channels.


Responsibilities

* Own and deliver end‑to‑end lifecycle marketing programmes, from onboarding, upsell through to retention.
* Use product usage data to understand how customers engage with our products and identify opportunities to increase adoption and value.
* Create and scale automated, behaviour‑led programmes that drive log in, adoption and sustained use of key product features.
* Design customer journeys that respond to usage patterns and support consistent value realisation.
* Track and report on performance across programs of work.
* Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Data and Sales to ensure the activity is mapped, and aligned.
* Act as the bridge between Marketing and Data, ensuring infrastructure, tracking and reporting capabilities support lifecycle strategy.
* Apply account‑based marketing approaches to focus adoption and growth activity on high‑value accounts.
* Work with marketing teams, product teams and customer success teams to ensure we continually drive the education, messaging and content that drives adoption and product stickiness.


Requirements

* Experience in retention, lifecycle or CRM marketing, ideally in a B2B or subscription‑based environment.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insight.
* Hands‑on experience building automated journeys.
* Confidence working with product usage data.
* Experience partnering with Product or Customer Success teams.
* Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and A/B testing.
* Understanding of customer economics (LTV, churn, cohort analysis).
* Experience of project management of marketing activities.
* A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across different teams with excellent communication.
* AI literacy / automation experience.
