Job Vacancy JOB PURPOSE: An exciting opportunity to join our Adult Health and Social Care service as a Social Work Team Leader. This post will have both operational and strategic oversight. The post holder will provide Team Leader capacity and resource to existing specialist Social Work teams (some being integrated teams- Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Older People, Adult Support and Protection, Hospital Inreach and the Duty Team). Covering during Team Lead absence will be a key element of this post. The post holder will deliver an effective service which achieves agreed outcomes and supports wellbeing for people accessing our adult services, who may have multiple and complex needs. Work delivered will be according to policy, professional standards, and best practice, utilising allocated budget, staff, partner organisations and other resources. There will also be a strategic element to the post, streamlining pathways between services/teams and developing shared understanding of roles and remits.
