Hours: 20 hours per week – School holidays only Location: Various holiday club sites across Cambridge Pay: £14.89 per hour Role Overview We are looking for a fun, energetic, and reliable Logistics Facilitator to join our team during school holidays and half terms. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, being active, and helping to run exciting holiday club activities. The Holiday Playscheme Logistics Facilitator is responsible for coordinating the efficient movement, setup, and organisation of resources across the playscheme. The role ensures that activities are consistently well-prepared, environments are safe and engaging, and staff are fully supported to deliver high-quality provision. Key Responsibilities Operational Support Coordinate the setup and pack-down of activity areas throughout the day Ensure all resources and equipment are available where and when required Maintain clear, safe, and organised activity spaces Resource Management Manage the distribution and collection of equipment across the setting Monitor stock levels of consumables (e.g. craft materials, sports equipment) Maintain organised storage systems to support efficient access Session Flow & Transitions Support smooth transitions between activities and sessions Anticipate staff needs and proactively prepare resources Respond quickly to requests to minimise disruption to children’s experiences Health & Safety Ensure equipment is safe, appropriate, and used correctly Maintain clear walkways and safe environments at all times Support risk assessments through effective organisation of spaces and resources Team Support Work closely with playworkers and activity leaders to enable high-quality delivery Act as a central point of coordination for resource-related needs Contribute to a positive, proactive team culture Person Specification Essential Organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently Proactive and able to anticipate needs Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Understanding of health and safety in a childcare or play setting Fun, energetic, and positive personality Full UK driving license Desirable Experience working in a holiday club, playscheme, or school setting Experience managing equipment or resources Knowledge of playwork principles
