Business Analyst- Hybrid We are partnering with a leading technology delivery organisation that works across complex software and digital transformation programmes. They are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their delivery team and help bridge the gap between business stakeholders and development teams. In this role, you will work closely with product owners, developers, testers, UX/UI designers, and solution architects to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and translated into actionable technical specifications. You will contribute to delivering high-quality solutions that align with business objectives, technical constraints, and user needs. This is a hands-on role for a motivated BA who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing solutions, and collaborating across multifunctional teams in a dynamic, Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into clear, actionable specifications. Develop functional designs, process flows, business rules, sequence diagrams, and product backlog items. Conduct business impact assessments across multiple streams to evaluate change implications. Support operational readiness, including communication, training, and change activities. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and testers throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stand-ups. Assist with testing activities, including reviewing test scripts, triaging defects, and resolving queries. Identify, analyse, and communicate technical constraints, dependencies, and risks to the team and stakeholders. Work closely with solution and technical architects to define and shape innovative solutions. Mentor and support junior Business Analysts where required. Contribute to backlog prioritisation in line with value, risk, and dependencies. About You: 1.55 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software delivery or technology-focused environment. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience operating within cross-functional delivery teams. Basic understanding of APIs, system integration, and database concepts. Experience facilitating requirements workshops, producing design artefacts, and translating business needs into technical solutions. Ability to operate independently, engage stakeholders, and influence delivery outcomes. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute to innovative solution design. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with both business and technical teams. Benefits & Working Environment: Hybrid working with Newcastle office as the base location.
