Overview
London Borough of Croydon seeks committed, experienced, qualified and knowledgeable social workers to support our core business of empowering and supporting people who need signposting, community support or direct help from the Council. This role focuses on case work and community liaison through GP Huddles and ICN+ Partnership, working with health and voluntary sector partners.
Responsibilities
* Provide case work for vulnerable adults, their families and representatives.
* Engage in community liaison through GP Huddles and the ICN+ Partnership.
* Develop links and networks within a locality setting, utilising the various support options available.
* Assist in the community engagement strategy and increase community involvement.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified and registered Social Worker with Social Work England, with over two years post‑qualifying experience.
* Successfully completed the Assessed Year in Supported Employment (ASYE) as a newly qualified Social Worker.
* Experience in adult social care and working with older people in an older person’s locality team.
Working Conditions
