Job Title: Locum Social Services Occupational Therapist
Job Location: Blackburn, UK
Salary: £30 per hour, Hourly
Contract: Ongoing contract
Full-Time: Full-Time (part-time will be considered)
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive community assessments in a local authority setting, identifying individual needs and recommending both standard and specialist equipment.
* Plan and implement minor and major home adaptations to improve safety and enhance functionality within clients’ everyday environments.
* Perform detailed manual handling assessments, ensuring all practices align with safety guidelines and legal requirements.
* Collaborate closely with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and execute personalised support plans.
* Keep detailed and accurate records to maintain the highest standards of professional and legal compliance.
Requirements
* Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Have recent experience practicing as an Occupational Therapist in the UK, ideally within the NHS.
* Must be registered with the HCPC.
