Construction Manager
for Rainwater Management, you'll lead projects that reduce spills and flooding while bringing environmental benefits to the region. From
sustainable drainage systems (SuDS)
and
natural flood management
to
sewer disconnections ,
attenuation systems, and
product installations, you'll oversee onsite delivery of innovative solutions shaping a greener future. Responsibilities Act as the key on-site representative, ensuring contractors deliver safely, on time, and within budget. Lead construction projects from urban landscaping to rural flood defenses, delivering benefits to communities and the environment. Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and contractors to achieve optimal outcomes. Promote safety and excellence, ensuring all work complies with CDM requirements and industry standards. Supervise contractors under NEC contracts, monitoring compliance and performance. Manage site risks, resolve issues promptly, and keep projects on schedule. Review and approve plans, schedules, and safety documentation to ensure smooth operations. Serve as the primary contact for customers and stakeholders during construction. Oversee project handovers and defect resolutions to ensure high standards of completion. Secure and manage all necessary permits and approvals.
